Council-wide Plans
Resilience Plan
Protecting individuals and businesses in our area from a range of environmental, health and economic risks.

There are many natural and man-made events that can threaten the livelihoods and wellbeing of all UK citizens. Every part of the United Kingdom is required to establish a Local Resilience Forum under the Civil Contingencies Act. The Cheshire Resilience Forum brings together the police, fire and rescue services, NHS, local authorities and other agencies to help prepare for, respond to and recover from any emergency.
We all need to protect ourselves and others in an emergency. And there are practical steps we can take to do this too. The Forum has produced a Risk Register, link below, which includes things such as pandemic flu, transport incidents, and severe weather exacerbated by climate change, and offers advice on what we as individuals can do.
