Public Meeting to discuss quarry planning at Somerford Farm

Sibelco are holding a public meeting on Monday, 3 July to discuss their planning application to quarry sand at Somerford Farm. Although the quarrying will be entirely within Somerford parish, Sibelco intend to convey the quarried sand to be processed at the existing Bent Farm site on Wallhill Lane, so residents of Newbold Astbury and Moreton-cum-Alcumlow parishes may wish to attend.
