Community Infrastructure Levy
Under section 59(a) of the Community Infrastructure Levy Regulations 2010: ‘a charging authority… must pass to every local council within its area a proportion of CIL receipts calculated in accordance with this regulation…’
CIL, or NCIL, is a charge on developers whose purpose is to fund infrastructure to support local development.
